Uplift Your EQ Leadership Retreat 2019 @ Asilomar Conference Grounds
Jun 17 @ 8:30 am – Jun 20 @ 5:00 pm

“It was literally the best training I’ve ever had as a leader. I have never seen someone understand the role of a principal more completely. It was truly life-changing.”

– Cara Kopecky, Principal Loomis USD

The EQ Schools Leadership Retreat is designed to provide leaders with Emotional Intelligence Leadership tools while allowing enough time for people to unwind and bond with their team and other like minded leaders. Since EQ Leadership skills require personalized guidance we’re going to keep the number of participants relatively small for this event so that each can get some customized attention. It’s going to be at Asilomar, a beautiful retreat center on the California beach, and we’re going to have a blast!

You and the administrators on your team will:

  • Improve your EQ competencies so you can lead by modeling
  • Have fun and get a chance to unwind and bond as a team
  • Influence in ways that leave people feeling more respected and cared about so you can lead with more ease
  • Increase engagement and positive feelings in your staff meetings
  • Learn how to disarm people who are angry with you
  • Learn how to tap into your resilience when you face adversity

Dates:

Check-In will be Monday 6/17 at 4pm.

Our program will be Tuesday 6/18 – Thursday 6/20.

Check-out will be Thursday 6/20 at Noon and we will complete the program between 4-4:30pm.

Sliding Scale Pricing Policy for this retreat:

This retreat is different than our conferences or summits in that it is a three day fully immersive event. In addition, we’re committed to keeping the number of participants small so that we can delve into the EQ leadership skills in a deeper, more personalized way.

In order to make this more intimate and customized event feasible, the regular price tuition is $1,500.

We’re also committed to supporting school and district leaders who are truly committed to this work and we realize that not every school can afford this tuition. Therefore, we created the sliding scale below.

  • $750 per ticket for any school leader who is unable to pay the full registration
  • $600 per ticket for a leader from a title 1 school who is unable to pay the full registration

Please select the pricing option that feels most in alignment for you. Please note that this price DOES NOT include room and board. We trust that if you are signing up at the lower rate, it’s because of financial necessities.

Room and Board:

Asilomar will assist with booking your room and board. We suggest when you book rooms to also book meals. Due to the schedule of our program, we suggest you book at least breakfast and lunch onsite with Asilomar. Take a look at information on dining at Asilomar HERE. Dinner can be onsite or offsite.

To book room and board online, please visit: https://www.visitasilomar.com/lodging/lodging-at-asilomar/

To book over the phone, please call 888-204-0352 or 888-635-5310

We are extremely excited to have this retreat and can’t wait to see you there!
